It is said that a city planned for you women is a good city for everyone. At the moment there is an increasing interest in feminist urban planning, where common themes are, public spaces, participatory methods and safety. This is also the case in the Stockholm region and in our study area – the Järva landscape. Within in this research track of Green Access, we aim to investigate how young women relate to nature beyond the strong discourse around safety. A first step is a scoping study performed within the context of the project Urban Girls Movement (2018-2019) lead by Global Utmaning in partnership with Botkyrka municipality in Stockholm where a mixed team of young women and experts are exploring new approaches to Fittja centrum through a series of dialogue labs. We are also represented in the researcher’s network of the project.
